On the afternoon of Thursday, March 12, 2026 the Millbrae Chamber of Commerce presented a lively mixer hosted by the Magnolia of Millbrae. A good number of those in the business community attended to socialize and network in a jovial atmosphere. Thanks to Jamie Monozon for putting this event together and to the Magnolia of Millbrae for their hospitality, food and drink. A number of attendees won raffle prizes, including several dinners to be hosted by the Magnolia. Everyone enjoyed this event and look forward to more mixers in the future! From past Chamber Board Chair Paul Larson.

On Sunday morning, February 22, 2026 the Millbrae Chamber of Commerce hosted a spectacular ribbon cutting event for the newly opened Tony’s Slice House Pizza Restaurant at 357 El Camino Real in Millbrae.

Attending in support, in addition to Tony’s head honchos and crew, were Millbrae Chamber Board Chair Ron Frediani with a good number of directors & board members, City Council representatives, community leaders and residents (including a large group of Millbrae Lions Club Past Presidents who just came from their annual breakfast meeting at Fiddler’s Green a few doors down).

Welcoming the crowd were City Manager Tom Williams, Chamber President-CEO Jamie Monozon along with Millbrae Mayor Reuben Holober, who welcomed award-winning celebrity Chef Tony Gemignani (Tony’s North Beach) to step up and say a few words. Moments later Chamber President Jamie encouraged the group to gather in front of the restaurant while unfurling a large red ribbon, and after the cut took place the crowd burst into cheers! The restaurant was officially opened and people swarmed inside for slices of their favorite types of pizza.

Thanks to Jamie and the Millbrae Chamber of Commerce for putting this event together, and all those who helped to make this happen. We all look forward to supporting Tony’s and wish them much continued success.

From Chamber Past Board Chair Paul Larson.
